New York City Marshal No. 11

Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects and how Marshal Fraiden’s office uses it.

What Information We Collect

When you submit the inquiry form on the Contact page, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, organization or firm, role, email address, phone number, preferred reply method, the type of matter you are inquiring about, a brief description of your matter, documentation status and whether the matter has already been delivered to another marshal, sheriff or enforcement officer.

We do not ask for and you should not submit Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, full court filings or other sensitive financial information through the website form unless specifically requested by Marshal Fraiden’s office.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to review your inquiry, determine whether Marshal Fraiden’s office may be able to assist with an eligible court-authorized matter and to respond to you.

Submitting this form does not automatically begin a matter, start enforcement or create an official court-authorized proceeding. The office reviews each inquiry before any next step is taken.

How We Store And Share Information

Information submitted through this website is stored in a restricted, internal system used by Marshal Fraiden’s office to track and respond to inquiries.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share information where required by law, court order or as necessary to carry out an eligible court-authorized matter you have asked us to review.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and to maintain accurate business records, consistent with applicable recordkeeping requirements for New York City Marshals.

Cookies And Website Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a standard website analytics tool, to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are small files stored in your browser, and similar technology to measure things like which pages are viewed and how visitors generally move through the site. It does not identify you personally.

Specifically, this website measures four things: clicks on the phone number, clicks on the email address, clicks on the inquiry form link and the words you type into the site search box. Search words are sent to Google Analytics so we can see what visitors look for and which searches find nothing. We also measure which search result you pick. Please do not type your name, a case number or other personal details into the search box. This website does not collect the content of your inquiry.

No advertising or retargeting tools are connected to this website. We do not use this data to show you ads on other websites.

If you prefer not to be measured, most browsers let you block or delete cookies through your own browser settings.
